You can use the signal from the detector to implement automation functions, e.g. a light on your property can switch on as soon as someone passes through the gate. Or in a more complex scenario – when you trigger the “leaving the house” scene, the entrance gate will be automatically closed, but only after the Outdoor Curtain Detector reports that a car has crossed the property boundary.

Nothing escapes your notice. Whenever the detector’s field of view is infringed, the app can notify you with a push message. This option is perfect, for example, when your children are playing in the garden. Whenever anyone approaches, for example, a door or gate that is often left open during the day, the detector will trigger the system’s pre-planned response and you will react immediately before anything bad happens.
Efficiency with technology
The Outdoor Curtain Detector,for reliable motion detection even in difficult conditions, features two detection paths: infrared (PIR) and microwave (MW). Three sensitivity levels makes it easy to adapt the way it detects movement to the characteristics of the protected premises and the functions the detector is to perform. The dual technology, combined with an algorithm for auto-adaptation to environmental conditions, provides the device with high resistance to false alarms.
The detector for harsh operating conditions
Rain, snow, fog, high insolation and high winds, as well as extreme temperatures from -40°C to +55°C are no obstacle for the Outdoor Curtain Detector. Even if the weather conditions are severe, the device operates properly and effectively detects moving people. For more complete protection, it is advisable to use the special protective HOOD A.
The detector enclosure is made using a special two-component technology and therefore offers exceptional watertightness (IP54) – the interior of the device is protected against dust, splashing water and attempts to tamper with, for example, a thin wire.
Attractive appearance for many years
When the device is installed in a conspicuous location, the external appearance of the detector is also an important issue. Especially if the enclosure is permanently exposed to strong external factors such as sunlight, or UV radiation. Owing to the use of high-quality material, the Outdoor Curtain Detector will remain highly aesthetic for years to come.
Vandal-proof
The device enclosure is designed to be highly resistant to mechanical damage, such as acts of vandalism or deliberate attempts to forcibly disable the detector. A dedicated recess for the lens protects it from accidental or intentional indentation. Additionally, the sensor, which reacts to attempts to open the enclosure or detach the detector from the base surface to which it is bolted, will transmit relevant information to the Smart HUB, which will trigger the alarm.
Installation
For standard applications, place the detector at a height of 2.4 m, with the lens facing downwards. Other installation heights are also acceptable if the device is to be used, for example, to protect a window or gate.
If you need additional adjustability, use special bolted holders: BRACKET A or BRACKET E.
High-performance battery
The Outdoor Curtain Detector’s operating time with a single battery is up to several years. Its status is constantly monitored by the system. The app will notify you in advance when the battery needs to be replaced. This way, you can insert a new one without any rush and keep your device running.
Easy to add to the system
The start-up and configuration are very fast and extremely easy. Insert the battery and then just provide a device name, assign it to a room and determine its functions.
