The detector will reliably detect the presence of an intruder on the property and transmit this information to the Smart HUB, which will immediately trigger the alarm. Early warning of danger will help you gain valuable time to react and minimise both the threat to the lives of your household members and the damage an intruder can cause by breaking down a door or smashing a window pane. It will also save your loved ones the stress of having their home broken into.

Animal-friendly

Outdoor Motion Detector is designed to tolerate animals weighing up to 20 kg. Therefore, your furry friend can move around the property stress-free, while the protection is activated. Moreover, you will also avoid false alarms triggered by the visit of other curious creatures, such as a fox or a marten wandering around the area.

A challenging room?

The detector can also be used indoors. In such an application, it will be perfect in places where adverse conditions prevail, such as in a garage or outbuilding.

Dual technology

The Outdoor Motion Detector uses as many as two motion detection methods (PIR + MW), which makes the device extremely effective and minimises the risk of false alarms. Such technology is a must considering where this detector is used.

Wide angle of “view”

By using a wide-angle lens (90°), a detection area of 16 m x 16 m was achieved. Moreover, the Outdoor Motion Detector can also protect its approach zone, that is, it can monitor the space directly below it.

Lighting matched to the day’s cycle

Use the Outdoor Motion Detector to control the lighting around your property. With the Smart Plug or the Smart 2-CH Relay, you can make the operation of the lamps dependent on the information transmitted by the detector to the Smart HUB. In this way, you will avoid unnecessary power consumption, as the lighting will only be switched on when it makes sense – from dusk to dawn. A built-in dusk sensor will take care of this.

Light where you are

The light around your home does not have to be on all the time. It should only switch on when it is needed. By using the Outdoor Motion Detector and the Smart Plug or the Smart 2-CH Relay, you will programme your outdoor lights to respond to your movement. For the sake of energy efficiency, lighting managed in this way will, of course, only switch on when it is dark.

Spotted: Intruder

Motion-sensitive lighting has yet another advantage. When the Outdoor Motion Detector detects the presence of an intruder, it will transmit this information to the Smart HUB, which will respond by triggering an alarm and turning on the light where movement has been detected. What for? So that the video surveillance system can capture the burglar in his (or her) full glory.

Resistance to any weather

The Outdoor Motion Detector will perform brilliantly in any weather conditions. The detector enclosure is made of airtight and weatherproof plastic with IP54 protection class. In addition, you can mount the protective HOOD C on the detector enclosure to further protect the lens from water or sunlight.

Choose the colour

Match the device to the colour of your house’s facade, so that the device “blends in” with he surface and becomes less noticeable. The Outdoor Motion Detector is available in two colours: white and grey.

Adjust detector position

Mount the Outdoor Motion Detector using a dedicated holder. You can conveniently adapt the detector’s position to your needs by increasing the distance of the device from the wall (BRACKET E kit) or changing its angle of inclination (BRACKET C kit). The holders can be combined with each other to perfectly adjust the position of the detector in relation to the mounting location.

Enclosure tampering detection

The Outdoor Motion Detector features a special sensor that reacts to any attempt to open or detach the detector bolted to the wall. In the case of such tampering, BE WAVE will trigger an alarm and you will receive an immediate push notification.

One “click” and it’s done

In the app, you can easily add a detector to your system and configure its settings. If necessary, you can quickly make changes to its operating options from anywhere around the world and thus ensure the energy efficiency of the systems dependent on it in your home.

Automatic updating
