Smart Keypad is a device for convenient local control, providing comfort in managing smart home functions and protection. The physical keyboard is a response to the needs of people expecting traditional solutions in everyday use of the system. Touch technology gives the device a modern accent.
Quickly activate selected functions
Smart Keypad features, despite of a numeric keypad, two dedicated function buttons that can be assigned up to four different tasks. Use the [BE WAVE app] to map the keys. Quickly turn on and off your chosen protection mode, trigger an alarm or a selected scene.
Precisely where you need it
Phone already packed? Did your child run to the car with it? You don’t need an app to launch the selected function in your BE WAVE. One click on the Smart Keypad installed at the exit door and the selected protection mode or e.g. the “Leaving home” scene will launch.
Looks matter
With its minimalist design, Smart Keypad seamlessly blends into any interior décor. Simple lines, classic housing colors, compact size – a universal look is one of its many advantages.
Sound confirmation
With the sound feature, you can rest assured that Smart Keypad has successfully relayed your command to Smart HUB. Similarly, in case of an alarm or failure, the keypad will use the built-in buzzer to inform you about the event. This way, you can be sure of what is happening in the system, even if you do not have the keypad in sight.
Safe communication
Smart Keypad communicates with Smart HUB without any cables – data transmission is secure (encrypted), thanks to the use of proven ABAX 2 technology.
Easy to install
Use the supplied mounting tape to place Smart Keypad on the wall. This method gives you the freedom to change the device’s location when needed. Alternatively, you can screw it to the wall permanently.
Tamper detection
Smart Keypad features a dedicated sensor that detects any attempts to open its enclosure or remove it from the wall. Upon detecting a threat, BE WAVE triggers an alarm, and you receive an immediate push notification.
One “click” and it’s done
Easily add Smart Keypad to your system and configure it in the app. You don’t have to remember to update your keypad firmware, Smart HUB will do it automatically.
Flexible power supply
The main power source for the Smart Keypad are two AA 1.5 V batteries. Information about the low charge level will be displayed in the application, and the BE WAVE will let you know in advance if they need to be replaced with new ones.
