Capture the moment of alarm in a "frame"

Turn on the protection, and you can be sure that the moment the sensor detects any movement, the camera will take a series of 3 photos within half a second, which you will immediately see in the app.

Owing to special illumination, the camera can also take clear photos at night.

A photo can also be taken on request. You can do this with a single click in your app.

Check the cause of the alarm

Knowledge is key to feeling safe and responding quickly and appropriately to incidents. Both you and the security agency you employ will be able to verify the cause of the violation. The images sent by the detector as soon as the alarm is raised will make it possible to verify if intervention is needed.

The alarm could have been triggered accidentally, for example, by one of the household members forgetting to turn off the security system on entering the house.

However, if the alarm is triggered by an intruder, the images will enable proper preparation for intervention – for example, the security agency can send more patrols when there are several burglars.

Photos in memory

The detector can save up to 40 recent shots in its internal memory. This is a safeguard in case the connection to the Smart HUB is temporarily lost. Within the first seconds of connectivity being restored, the images will be sent to it and you will receive a push notification when the latest shots are available.

Data security

Communication between the Motion Detector Cam and the Smart HUB occurs without any wires – by radio. Data transmission is secured using an advanced encryption standard – AES. Cracking it would require computing power far beyond that of today’s computers. It is used for example in banking operations, online shopping or Wi-Fi connections.

The power of ABAX 2 technology

The radio technology used in BE WAVE ensures that the Motion Detector Cam communicates effectively with the Smart HUB even when other radio systems operate in the immediate vicinity. This is due to operation in the so-called four channels of the frequency band. Photos are transmitted via a special separate fifth channel. This way, the basic communication taking place within the entire system over the four channels will not be burdened additionally and all data will reach the Smart HUB without interference.

Unique optical system

The Motion Detector Cam optical system responsible for detecting movement is based on an advanced lens designed and manufactured in Japan. Its design provides a very large detection area of 15 m x 24 m and a viewing angle of 90°.

Precise evaluation of the situation

An advanced motion detection algorithm ensures reliable detection of intruders within the entire monitored area.

Dynamic adaptation of the algorithm to changes in ambient temperature provides stable detector operation and minimises false alarms.

No one will approach

The integrated pivoting mirror enables effective surveillance of the area even directly under the detector – in the so-called creep zone. This means that nothing can be hidden!

The detector has a built-in temperature sensor. Owing to this, you can check in the app how warm it is in the supervised room. You don’t need to buy a special separate device for this purpose.

What’s more, you can also use this function to optimally control your heating.

Light where you are

BE WAVE can switch on selected lights as soon as the Motion Detector Cam detects anyone within its field of view. This is a very convenient solution, especially when, for example, your hands are occupied with heavy shopping or you are carrying a sleeping baby.

Convenient and simple installation

You can install the detector using the supplied mounting tape without drilling into the walls. You can also use a special holder. Using it, the angle of the detector can be adjusted in two planes: up to 35° vertically and up to 90° horizontally.

Installing a battery in the detector is simple and convenient. All you need to open the case is a flat-blade screwdriver. And closing it is done without tools.

Such long battery life? WOW

Owing to the advanced power management feature, the detector can run on a single battery for up to several years. Information about its low level of charge will be displayed in the app. BE WAVE will let you know this in advance so that you can replace the battery at your leisure and maintain the continuity of protection and all the smart home functions the detector is involved in.

Or perhaps power supply?

The Motion Detector Cam can also be connected to the APS-055 power supply. If you often use the camera functionality, it is worth choosing this solution. The battery will then provide a backup power supply.
