One detector – many possibilities
The Multipurpose Detector offers multiple functions enclosed in a single device. It is you who decides what role in the system it should perform – and you have five options to choose from! When adding the Multipurpose Detector to your BE WAVE system, specify whether you want it to operate as a shock, opening, shock and opening, water flood or temperature detector. Regardless of what it is to respond to, it will transmit information about a specific event to the Smart HUB, which will trigger a corresponding action. And you will receive an appropriate notification on your smartphone.
Shocks heralding danger
Shock detector mode? What can you use it for? When installed on a door or window frame, the Multipurpose Detector detects shocks accompanying attempts to force them. This allows your BE WAVE system to detect an intruder really early, before they cause more damage or even get into the protected area. As a response, an alarm will go off and, in addition, surrounding lights may come on to illuminate the vandal.
So that the door does not stand open
Opening a window, a door or perhaps a garage gate? This type of event can be responded to by the Multipurpose Detector in the opening detector mode.
Two in one
Multipurpose Detector in a dual role? Sure thing! Select the mode: “shock and opening detector” so that the device simultaneously protects the door or window by detecting both attempts to force and open them.
Monitor the presence of water
Select the flood detection mode and connect a special probe to the detector, which can even be mounted in a narrow gap due to its small size. Depending on how you program the Smart HUB, you can receive notifications about both the presence of water or its drop below the probe level – for example, when a leak appears in the water installation, or when the water level in the rainwater tank, from which you water the garden, drops below the specified level. Moreover, the Smart HUB can react and close the relevant valve to prevent further flooding or open it to refill the water in the tank.

Working in tougher conditions
The device can be housed in a special OPX-1 weather-resistant enclosure. This means that you can install the Multipurpose Detector outside the building to, for example, use it for monitoring the entrance gate, wicket gate, or… letterbox. It will prove its value not only in the protection mode by triggering an alarm when someone unwanted opens the gate. Make use of the possibilities offered by the detector operating outdoors also for automation functions, e.g. on the driveway, to have the light switched on as soon as the entrance to the property is opened. Remember! It is necessary (if the detector works in the opening or shocking and opening mode) to include the also hermetically sealed OPXM-1 magnet.
Long communication range
You can quickly and conveniently attach the Multipurpose Detector to a wall or frame, using mounting tape. Naturally, if you need a Grade 2 protection, you can bolt the detector to the mounting surface.
Enclosure tampering detection
The Multipurpose Detector features a special sensor that reacts to any attempt to open or detach the detector bolted to the mounting surface. As a result, BE WAVE will trigger the alarm and you will be notified of the tampering immediately with push notifications.
Convenient installation
You can quickly and conveniently attach the Multipurpose Detector to a wall or frame, using mounting tape. Naturally, if you need a Grade 2 protection, you can bolt the detector to the mounting surface.

Easy configuration in the app
In the app, you can easily add a detector to your system and conveniently configure its settings. You can also determine the sensitivity level and operating mode of the device. The Multipurpose Detector can perform security functions, automation functions or both at the same time – it’s up to you!
